Significant Protein Donation Furthers Mission of Annual “Great Food
Drive”
Portland – Pacific Seafood, a family owned seafood company based in
Portland, Ore., has pledged 30,000 pounds of seafood to the Oregon
Food Bank Network’s annual “Great Food Drive.”
The goal of the drive is to raise one million pounds of food
during the month of March.
“Pacific Seafood fully supports the efforts of the Oregon Food Bank
Network and we take great pride in a project that will help fight
hunger in our local communities,” said Frank Dulcich, president and
CEO of Pacific Seafood Group. “Seafood is shown to offer an array of
health benefits including protection against many diseases, and we are
pleased to be able to provide an important protein source – which is
often lacking in food drives – for such a worthy cause.”
