PACIFIC SEAFOOD’S PRESIDENT SPONSORS
IRAQ
VETERANS’ TRIP TO LOS ANGELES FILM FESTIVAL
Soldiers
Flown in for “This is War: Memories of
Iraq
” Showing
Portland
,
Ore.
– March 6, 2008 – Frank Dulcich,
president and CEO of Pacific Seafood Group, a
family owned seafood company based in Portland, Ore., is
making a film festival viewing of “This is War: Memories of Iraq”
possible for five Oregon National Guard Soldiers featured in the film.
Dulcich will fly the soldiers to
Los Angeles
via the company’s private plane this weekend for the film’s
special red carpet screening at the second annual Cinema City Film
Festival. The film will be shown at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in
Los Angeles on March 9 at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds will go to a burn center
in Los Angeles that assists soldiers who suffered burn wounds while on
active duty.
“Pacific
Seafood is honored to make this trip possible for those that have so
selflessly served our country,” said Dulcich. “Our hope is that by
viewing the film with others at the festival, our hero/soldiers can
see the impact they have made on others by courageously sharing their
experiences.”
“This is War: Memories of Iraq,” an award winning documentary that
follows soldiers from the Oregon National Guard 2/162 infantry
battalion during deployment in Iraq, was produced by Lucky Forward
Films. Following the film festival showing, the Oregon National Guard
Soldiers will take the stage to receive special recognition and answer
questions about their experience.
“This is War: Memories of Iraq” is available on DVD for purchase
