Pacific Shrimp Company is located on the Bay Front of Newport, Oregon, on the central Oregon coast. Pacific Shrimp Company was purchased in July 1996, by The Pacific Seafood Group to procure and process fresh seafood in one of the largest fishing ports in Oregon.
In 2000 the Pacific Seafood Group acquired Depoe Bay Seafood, a neighboring processing facility in Newport as well as several buying stations along the coast of Oregon. The addition of the Depoe Bay facility helped expand the processing and procurement capacities in the Port of Newport. With this acquisition came a fresh seafood market that caters to the local and tourist trade with the offering of the best seafood available from the processing facilities. This store has been expanded to a seafood restaurant serving fresh fish, chowder, crab and shrimp.
Pacific Shrimp helps link The Pacific Seafood Group's coverage on the west coast which extends from Westport, Washington to Fort Bragg, California with processing plants in Westport, Wa., Warrenton, Or., Bay City, Or., Newport, Or., Charleston, Or., and Eureka, Ca. Pacific Shrimp is one of the largest producers of Whiting Fillets on the west coast, and is a leader in Groundfish, Shrimp, Crab and Salmon in the port of Newport.

Shrimp, Whiting, Groundfish, Crab, Salmon, Herring, Tuna, Swordfish and under utilized species.

Seafood Processed:
Whiting - Skin on fillets, H&G. Groundfish, whole cooked crab, Salmon, Albacore Tuna, Shrimp in 1998.
